iFarm is selected to participate in EIT Food Acceleration Network
In tough competition iFarm has won a chance to take part in the best Acceleration program in the agrotech industry.
On June 10, 2020 EIT FAN announced the names of the 60 lucky ones to join the program and benefit from intensive training and networking for the next 4 months.

EIT FAN's mission is to make the world a better place by revolutionizing people's view on the food system. They are striving to achieve that by bringing together key players of the industry, agrifood startups, research centers and universities to deliver an innovative and entrepreneurial food sector.

EIT FAN's mission is to make the world a better place by revolutionizing people's view on the food system. They are striving to achieve that by bringing together key players of the industry, agrifood startups, research centers and universities to deliver an innovative and entrepreneurial food sector.
Since 2018 EIT FAN has been running an Acceleration program for startups, selecting only the best, most proactive and innovative companies to benefit from the program they have put together.
In 2020 the selection process was the most competitive with a record number of about 450 applicants from the EU and associated countries. The companies had to go through two rounds of rigorous assessment and review by more than 130 industry experts, and then pitch their ideas to a panel of impartial judges.
The program will run in parallel in 6 international hubs: in Munich (Germany), Haifa (Israel), Lausanne (Switzerland), Bilbao (Spain), Helsinki (Finland) and Cambridge (UK). All startups will be assigned mentors from powerful food corporations such as Nestle, PepsiCo, Danone, Valio etc., who will be giving advice and supporting them on how to bring their innovation to the market faster.

By joining the program startups also get a chance to gain access to EIT FAN's powerful database of customers and investors. On top of that teams will also be offered lectures and workshops on various business topics to ranging from product development and service design to sales, marketing and fundraising.
