iFarm in collaboration with Nuanu residents, a values-driven community committed to facilitating transformation on a global scale, have partnered to construct a high-tech multi-functional vertical farm in the Magic Garden area in Nuanu (Bali, Indonesia).

Nuanu, a new place in Bali spread over 44 hectares of prime beachfront land, inspires an original way of living in harmony with one another and nature; testing new ways of learning, rethinking, creating, and seeking to impact society and regenerate our environment positively.

The innovative vertical farm will cover a growing area of 963 square meters and is expected to yield approximately 4 tonnes of ultra-fresh leafy greens each month. In the future, the farm could be modified to grow a wider range of crops, including strawberries and vegetables.

Visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the high-tech vertical farm, watch the crops being grown — and purchase them on the spot. The yield will also be supplied to local grocery stores for further sale.

The biometric eco-architecture style will be used to design this automated indoor vertical farm, which will become a symbol of the town’s commitment to sustainability, environmental regeneration, and food safety.

The farm will be launched in 2024.
