iFarm was recognized as the Hottest Ag/FoodTech Startup of 2020 at the prestigious European competition — The Europas Awards, which has been defining the most innovative tech startups in Europe for the past 11 years. In 2020, due to the pandemic and quarantine, live streaming of the ceremony took place online.

The following applicants for the title of the Hottest Ag/FoodTech Startup went to the finals of The Europas: the German project ConstellR (uses satellites to monitor the Earth's temperature to a fraction of a degree), Earth Rover from the UK (provides agronomic services for valuable crops), and the Swiss startup Planted (turns natural ingredients into plant-based meat).

The Europas is held in several stages, one of which is a public vote. "It's great that not only experts and the professional community can participate in determining the best startups, but also everyone who is interested in the development of technologies that change the world. We thank everyone who supports us: to reach the final again and win The Europas is a big reward. We are inspired by your recognition!" — commented Maxim Chizhov, co-founder of iFarm.
iFarm has already been recognized as the best agtech startup in Northern Europe in the Best Social Impact Startup nomination, named the best AgTech startup in Europe by Valuer — an international analytics company, is included in the international map of indoor cultivation technologies and in the list of TOP-500 foodtech startups in the world. Automated vertical farms for local and hyperlocal cultivation of vegetables, berries and herbs using iFarm technologies are installed in enclosed spaces: from special industrial sites to supermarkets, restaurants and cafes.

The organizer of The Europas Awards is TechCrunch — one of the best international media about startups, technologies, innovations and online business, founded in 2005.
